Peter is the President of Beat the Heat NT Inc and driver of "The Heat and Street Heat".
Peter has been a Police officer in the NT Police Force for the last 23 years. Interests include "Beat the Heat", HQ Racing, charity work and in his spare time building/fixing race cars. His current aim whilst President of "Beat the Heat" is to continue with the initial objective of "Beat the Heat" by getting kids off the street and on to the track to race in a safe environment.

Dave is the team Engineer and a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic and has worked with NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services for 35 years. Dave has been a founding and active member of Beat the Heat NT since 2003 and was instrumental in procuring and developing 'The Heat', securing sponsorship and equipment, and fundraising to establish and maintain the off street initiative and remains passionate for the cause. Dave was heavily involved in building 'The Heat's' trailer and in 2008 prepared 'Pre Heat' for racing. Dave's interests include promoting and supporting off street racing and is an active volunteer with Life Education Australia and in July '09 won the 'Bruce Gyngel Award' in recognition of 23 years outstanding commitment. Dave enjoys all forms of motor racing, 4WDing, riding his motorbike, fishing and the Territory lifestyle.
